This article is only for reference to educational users who are required by their school/university to purchase access to AirwaySim's simulation individually with self-payment.

What is AirwaySim?

First of all, welcome! You will be participating in a realistic airline simulation as part of your studies.

AirwaySim is an online management simulation where you can run your own airline and compete against other students in your course. Your simulation environment will be private and customized just for your course.

Participation fee

Your university has requested that each participating student will pay the simulation usage fee individually, instead of single billing through university's management.

This fee will be paid through separate payment processor, Wise Payments, and can be paid with Visa or MasterCard. For alternate means of payment, please consult your instructor.

The steps for payment are:

  1. Your instructor will provide a dedicated payment link that is valid for your course.

  2. Open the link and scroll down to "Pay by card". No separate account or signup is needed.

  3. Provide your card details and accept the payment. A payment confirmation will be automatically sent to the e-mail address you provide.

  4. After you have completed the purchase, inform your instructor (and let the instructor know of the e-mail you used, if it was not the school's standard e-mail address for you, since we need to verify the payments manually for each student).

  5. All done! 👍
Important note: Your instructor will provide the list of students to us before the simulation starts. You don't have to do anything else at this stage nor contact us separately.

When your custom simulation starts

Our educational simulation environment is on a dedicated server from our publicly accessible simulations, and you will receive the login information (incuding account name and password) from your instructor before the simulation begins. There is no need to separately register or create an account to our website.
